HAMMETT PRIZE ANNOUNCED
Another award given at Bouchercon last weekend was the Hammett Prize. The North American Branch of the International Association of Crime Writers gives a juried award annually for "a work of literary excellence in the field of crime writing."
This year's winner was The Seduction of Water by Carol Goodman (published by Ballantine).
