THE CWA JOHN CREASEY MEMORIAL DAGGER - (For first books by previously unpublished writers, sponsored by BBC Audio. Includes a cash prize of £1000.)
WILLIAM LANDAY - MISSION FLATS (Bantam)
THE CWA SHORT STORY DAGGER - (Includes a cash prize of £1500.)
JERRY SYKES - "Closer to the Flame"
